Political, administrative, economical and scientific participants in cooperation with UKOM combine their expertise to create regional, national, and international networks.  These networks provide future prospects for the region.  Due to the common ideals of the paticipants, many goals can be achieved, including the goal of sustainable business and technology, heightened idea sharing, and the marketing of innovative products. 

The environmental expertise center (UKOM) offers an extensive spectrum of meetings and projects:

  Informative meetings about new technology, products, methods and procedures in the environmental sector.

  Communictation network for regional, national, and international cooperation.
• UKOM Discourse
  Meetings, projects, idea exchange, and information concerning current topics within the areas of environmental protection and technology.  There is also access to integrative and active discussion forums, as well as model projects.

The basis for our activities is the exchange of ideas, information, experiences, and also cooperation.  Only through the combination and coordination of these activities can we be successful in our main objective:   To increase the competititive abilities of our partners while simultaneously improving the sustainability of the environment. 

The composition of our members and partners is especially versatile.  These participants include national and local institutions, research facilities like universities and professional schools, organizations, businesses, and even private people.  This diversity is what leads to our strengths; the ability to exchange knowledge and experience from such a wide spectrum of professionals.
