The very soil that we live upon earth in which we live directly on is usually the most ignored environmental resource.  Paving, garbage dumps, soil erosion, pollution and contamination can cause major problems for the food production industry.

Participating members of UKOM examine land and soil properties, create techniques for cleanup operation and reclamation and develop strategies against the soil erosion. Engineers and geologists help with the safe storage of our waste in dumps.
